As far as content and usability, this book deserves 5 stars. To have the WCF & Catechisms with ESV proofs footnoted at the bottom of the page is, to my knowledge, no where else to be found. 1 star knocked off due to rather poor layout (for example, tons of white space on certain pages due to the number of proofs, etc). That being said, this is great for anyone looking for the WCF with ESV proofs included. We use it weekly (often daily) in our home.

Best version of the Westminster Confession of Faith I have come across. Thankfully it is in modern english and uses the very reliable ESV translation and even better it does not just cite the passages for you to look up on your own but puts the very texts of Sacred Scripture into all the footnotes of Biblical citations.

Really like the way this study Bible is laid out with applicable, passage-specific quotations inserted throughout. Anyone who identifies with Spurgeon’s moderate Calvinist theology and warm pastoral approach will find this a very useful resource.

I needed a good study Bible for my home desk use. This one is PERFECT. Very readable print AND translation. The leather cover is substantial though softly flexible. It looks to be manufactured for a lifetime of use! Back to the print - I have minor but non-fixable visual impairments so do better with a bit larger print than most Bibles have. This one is good in brightness of paper & print, as well as font and size of the print. The only down side I had, and not significant, was I wanted to use it at church. It is a bit heavy for that as well as the translation being somewhat different to what might be read at church making it a bit hard to follow along at times. I held off a while before writing a review because I wanted to try it in various circumstances. Bottom line, I love it and enjoy reading it here at home!

 Having Charles Spurgeon's Commentary alongside the corresponding scriptures, is worth the purchase price. On top of that, the genuine GoatSkin Leather which is soft and smooth, yet strong, will last many years. Check out my video review for more!

This bible is work of art. The leather-bound goat skin index edition is absolutely beautiful and makes the price well worth it. It will last a life time. My only disappointment is that it does not come in a red letter edition (words of Christ in red) and it does not have a center reference index making for a chain reference. So it is not really a very good study bible. And too, the commentary is pieces of Spurgeon's vast sermon collection pieced together as commentary. It is not anything actually written by Spurgeon. The translation is the Holman Christian Standard Bible edition which I think is much much better than the KJV. But that is a personal preference. For the price I don't think you can beat it. It is well constructed and sewn together.

I just find the way the Bible was put together especially with the sweet leather awesome!! The translation is unbelievable. There is such a flow and rythem to reading and studying with this Bible. Most importantly is what I paid. A similar leather Bible (could only find cowhide versus that subtle and soft goat skin that I received) was $200.00 compared to the $72 I paid. I can find no faults. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience.

Incredible Bible! Great version and notes. Teaching from it almost immediately. Beautiful cover and font is easy to read. Could not be more happy with it.

Anyone of Christian faith, anyone seeking the Lord and to be pleasing to God cannot go wrong in purchasing this CSB Spurgeon Study Bible. Very helpful. Very easy to use to grow deeper in one's understanding and faith in Jesus the Lord and God our Father.

My favorite version so far out of many. Bought one then gave to mother in-law then bought another for myself. I'm aware my preference may not suit others but this a very nice quality study Bible with a bonus of Spurgeon's sermon notes.
